We rebuilt how Roosty predicts staffing needs. Coverage now accounts for reservations, local events, and how busy the same week was last year, not just averages. Click any warning and you'll jump straight to the shift that needs attention.

When shifts risk running short, Roosty ranks the best fixes by impact and fairness. Conflicting constraints get flagged automatically so you can make the call instead of trusting a black box.

This was our most requested improvement since launch. Accurate coverage is the reason managers trust Roosty, so we treated this as foundation work, not a feature.

Workspaces now support granular role-based access. Assign members as Admins, Planners, or Viewers to control who can edit shifts, approve swaps, and manage billing. Planners can build schedules but can't modify venue settings. Viewers get read-only access to their own shifts and the published roster.

For groups running multiple venues, this means you can onboard new supervisors into Roosty without exposing contracts or billing details. Permissions apply instantly and sync across all active sessions.

Roosty can now resolve conflicts directly inside the planner. Swap two employees, pull someone from a quieter day, or offer an open shift to qualified staff, all from the same view where you spotted the gap. No spreadsheets, no group-chat roulette.

Fixes are contextual. When Roosty flags a Friday-evening shortage, it already knows who is available, who is under their hours, and who worked the last three weekends. Hit "apply fix" and the schedule updates itself. Every change is logged with a full audit trail so your team always knows what happened and who approved it.
